Since the end of the 19th century, they had found their way into Parisian variétés, salons or onto the decks of ocean liners. The indomitable clarity of the shade's oval awith the surround's elegantly restrained gradation are the arguments favouring this classic that are still valid today. The light plays around the brass, is reflected back brilliantly to form a radiant aura around the light. It is well placed in hallways as in a side or low rooms. The light has an E27 socket for 60 watts maximum and is dimmable.
